JICA Group Training Course on "Integrated Water Resource Management"
1.Purpose of the training
This training course is aimed to help the participants to understand the importance and practical methods of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) for its implementation.
2.Outputs
- To understand the contents of systems and their operation required for implementation of IWRM,
- To understand operation, maintenance and management of facilities necessary for IWRM through observation on the sites,
- To understand how IWRM is being implemented, and
- To formulate an Action Plan based on the knowledge gained through 1-3

- Necessary systems for IWRM implementation
- Operation and maintenance of necessary facilities for IWRM
- IWRM practices in Japan
- Action Plan formulation
