Dam Card to be issued in commemoration of 17th World Lake Conference
- Distribution will start on 16 July at each satellite venue -25 July, 2018
The World Lake Conference is globally recognized as a place to discuss and exchange views to find solutions to various environmental problems occurring in lakes and their basins all over the world and will be held in Ibaraki for the first time in 23 years. In commemoration of 17th World Lake Conference (Lake Kasumigaseki, Ibaraki, Japan, 2018), "The Dam Card in commemoration of World Lake Conference" will be issued.
The Dam Card in commemoration of World Lake Conference will be distributed at the following satellite revenues:

- [Tsuchiura City] Environmental Science Center, Kasumigaura, Ibaraki Prefecture Summer Festival

- 7 October (Sun.), 2018

- 8 October (Mon./Holiday), 2018

Those who kindly fill out a questionnaire at the booth of Kasumigaura River Office in each satellite venue will be able to receive a card case and a commemorative dam card of Kitaura as a souvenir. In addition to this, a commemorative dam card of Nishiura and a commemorative card of each city will be distributed to those who visit the booth of Japan Water Agency and that of each city in the satellite venue showing the card case there.
Furthermore, a commemorative dam card will be given to those who show the card case and the above 3 kinds of dam cards at Tsukuba International Congress Center where 17th World Lake Conference Lake Kasumigaura 2018 will be held from October 15th of 2018. 4 dam cards in total can be stored in this card case.
